Alison & Simon at the Sport Technology Awards 2014The 2014 Sports Tech Awards was held in The Brewery, London, on Friday April 4th and was supported by over 140 companies, keen to contest for these prestigious awards. The judging team had an impressive array of Olympic medal winning athletes such as Tessa Sanderson, Times Sports Editor Gary Jacob and Sir Clive Woodward CBE to name but a few.

Simon Hughes and Alison Short from Equiweb UK where thrilled to claim the Award for “Best Technology in a Single Sport” with their downloadable ridden audio lessons from iRide Training.

Simon commented “The competition was stiff with Wilson (spin effect) and various established world wide brands against us.
“iRide was selected by the judges based on its simple user-friendly site, and proven effectiveness to train with your horse at home through audio lessons with recognised coaches.
“We are thrilled that iRide brought equestrianism to the Sports Technology Awards 2014, and that the STA has recognised our unique product.”

iRide Training Makes Shortlist for International Sports Technology Awards

Joins Adidas, Vodafone, Sky Sports and Chelsea FC as Award Contenders.

Today, 5th February, it was announced that iRide Training has been shortlisted for the Sports Technology Awards in the category of ‘Best Technology in a Single Sport’. Joining the likes of Sky, O2, Wilson and Adidas, iRide Training will now go on to see which company emerges victorious at the awards ceremony in April.

Come and meet International Grand Prix rider Amy Stovold and her horses at her stunning, new, purpose-built yard.

Amy will give you a guided tour of her yard and then ride and discuss her training techniques.

iRide Training has been a strong supporter of Amy’s sympathetic yet systematic style of training, which has made her a popular choice at iRide’s ridden download library.

Starting at 10am prompt until approx. 1pm, please bring a chair and warm clothing (all indoors).

Sarah and Tamrik Captain “Jack” Sparrow’s Quest for Area Festival Qualification

Sarah is based in East Sussex and works as a teaching assistant at a local school. Sarah competes on five year old Welsh Section D Captain “Jack” Sparrow (bred by Tamrik Stud) who Sarah has backed and produced herself.

iRide Artist Sarah Millis 2nd to Gold Medallist

Hickstead 3* CDIO show cased the best of British riders and training.

Sarah Millis and her impressive chestnut 9 years old gelding Furst Rubin came second in the Intermediaire I with an impressive score of 70.895%, less than 0.3% percent behind GB Gold medallist Laura Tomlinson (née Bechtolsheimer).

Sarah has produced “Rubin” since a 4 year-old and in this strong class their true partnership and correct foundations stood them in high regard by all 5 international judges, one tying them in first place with Laura.

Sarah is firmly on route to Grand Prix with this horse and we look forward to following their success!

iRide Artist Sarah Millis has World Cup success at Neumünster

Sarah Millis and HP Frontier secured 13th place in the Kur with 70.00% at Neumünster in Germany on February 17th 2013.

This exciting combination where campaigning in their first World Cup season and where thrilled to qualify for the second day’s prestigious Kur. Sarah’s freestyle programme was to Maroon 5 by German composer Ralf Roder.

14 year old HP Frontier (Falkrich x Liberty Light) owned by Katja Kuistila has been partnered by Sarah for 22 months and Sarah’s training with this talented horse is clearly to see. We look forward to keeping up with there results throughout 2013.

Amy Stovold Moves to “Park Farm” – a Yard of Excellence!

“It was really sad to leave Exfold, Juliet and Gareth have a beautiful yard and more so are such wonderful people, they have been brilliant to me and the team, I cannot thank them enough” said Amy, “but this opportunity arose and I just could not turn it down.”

Owned by Annabel and David Swain, Park Farm’s facilities are hard to beat in the UK. The yard is situated just 10 minutes from Exfold Farm and it offers everything a yard of Amy’s standard needs to be able to operate at such high levels.

“It is a yard of Excellence” states Amy who has her final interview for World Class come the end of November.
